Excursion, 19th August

We meet at 04:30 p.m. at the tram station “Altmarkt”, see map below – our guide can be identified via a signboard showing our TOPO2016 logo. Please note that our excursion coincides with the Dresden city festival, going along with strict security measures. Thus, big bags and backpacks should be avoided in the city, if possible.

From Dresden main station (“Hauptbahnhof”) it is approx. 20 minutes on foot, or a few minutes by tram (line 3, direction “Coschütz” or “Plauen” or line 8, direction “Südvorstadt” – leave at “Nürnberger Platz” in both cases) or bus (line 66, direction “Freital”, “Coschütz”, or “Südhöhe” – leave at “Technische Universität”). The following map might be helpful:
